告诉你一个笑话
:
That's what my preceptor'll say when she remember some random funny/lame past experiences:
Her friend (SY) was covering duty at her outlet
Round 1:
One customer approach the pharmacy for a particular medication. So she started asking alot of questions as an SOP for counseling.
The customer's one & only reply: It's ok, I know Ming Ming...
And he took the medication to the cashier, while she was still shocked... haha, my preceptor become "Drug regulator" liao... Anything pass thru her is safe... =p
Round 2:
A mother with her daughter approached the pharmacy and started looking high and low for something, so SY ask her if she's looking for something.
The mother tiped toed to look over the counter while replying, "oh, i'm actually looking for Ming Ming" (haha, like ming ming's hiding under the counter... -_-'''')
LOLz... My preceptor famous at bedok sia!!! haha

DIARY OF SPECIAL EVENTS
:
Situation
a. Relate the situationAn elderly, 老不死, man came into the pharmacy with prescription for Resonium A (Polystyrene sodium sulphonate). However, Resonium A was discontinued and no longer available on the market. As such, we recommended another brand name (Resinsodio) which composed of the came ingredient.
He was very cynical and started asking who will be responsible if he dies. As such we reassure that the drug is safe and is similar to the one prescribed but of different brand, and that another similar case happened to another patient.
We went on to process his particulars and he was very unwilling and started remarking that it was such a hassle.
Finally, we printed out the label and started counseling him regarding the dosing and interval of three times daily. At this moment he said it was supposed to be twice weekly. However, the prescription clearly stated three times per week. As such, we offered to call his physician to clarify the matter but he refused stating that it was late and his doctor will not be in the clinic.
As such, we asked him whether he know what the medication was prescribed for. He bluntly said no and that he would not tell us even if we do.
b. Record your feelings and reflectionClearly, this patient is a bloody, f***ing PAIN IN THE (_|_). If there's a choice, i'll kick his dried, old, wrinkled, sorry, hyperkalaemic (_|_) out of the shop.
c. RecommendationsSince he cant wait to kee chia, we should advise him to check out the price at Lavendar Street and make reservation for permanent residence, prior to drug administration. PERIOD!

"I want that"
:
Today (Yesterday to be exact), some guy came up the the pharmacy counter and pointed to the counter.
He: I want that
So I pointed at the hydrocortisone cream which was at the direction he pointed.
"This?"
He: No
Then i go on pointing the range of brands of hydrocortisone creams.
He: No, below.
That was a range of hearing aid. So it continued till I finally reached one in a green coloured square box.

When he inspected the product, he realised that it was not what he wanted.
He: I'm looking for condoms
LOL!!!!!!! -_-'''''''
